In this video Travis discusses the Facebook outage that occured on Monday Oct. 4th, 2021. He talks about what happened and why it took so long for Facebook to get there services back up and running. He specifically addresses the BGP routing issues caused by facebook themselves as well as some additional issues that were caused such as DNS resolution issues, DNS DoS, as well as communication issues through Facebook owned products like FB messenger and WhatsApp
