The Cyber Security video is finally here. So many people have requested that I do a Cyber Security video after seeing me on @Aaron Vankampen “What Do You Do For A Living” Tik Tok video. And I am so happy to share some foundational knowledge to anyone looking to get into the Cyber Security field. The industry is huge and there is so much to talk about. So take some notes, utilize the resources below, let’s build and be great.
Just a small introduction on me. I have been working in Cyber Security for some time. In college, I struggled tremendously — that computer science degree was hard (Sheessh). But I kept pushing through, and kept learning, got through the program and did a Masters in Information Security — which was way easier. After I finished college, I worked in research and development creating a bunch of useful stuff, then in a Security Operation Center (SOC) doing Threat Detection, then Risk Management and now Penetration Testing. I have done a lot in a short period of time. I understand what it is like to struggle and not know what to do next to get the the next stages of career/life, so I wanted to make sure I put this video out so I can help someone get the knowledge they need to move forward with dreams and goals they have.
You don’t have to go to College to get in this field. I tell you other creative ways to get in as well. I give you game about some skills and certifications you need, some TIPS and how much money you can make in this field.
Cyber Security has been good to me. I have been able to travel, work remotely, take care of my family and do things I thought would take me years to do. Hope you enjoy this video. Comment “Another one” below if you want part 2.
